Welcome to Smooth. By signing up and using the Smooth app, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Cashback Program Terms

1.1 Earning Cashback

  • User earn 5% cashback on eligible purchases at any Smooth-affiliated merchant.

  • Cashback is based on the net amount paid (after any discounts).

  • Cashback is credited automatically to your Smooth wallet.

1.2 Redeeming Cashback

  • You can redeem cashback at any merchant in the Smooth ecosystem.

  • When redeeming at a different merchant, a maximum of 20% of your bill can be paid using cashback.

  • When redeeming at the same merchant where the cashback was earned, you can redeem the full cashback, even if it exceeds 20%.

  • Merchants may decline cashback usage if another loyalty or promotional discount is applied. You may choose to use either Smooth cashback or another program—not both.

1.3 Cashback Expiry

  • Cashback expires 12 months from the date it is earned.

  • Expired cashback is automatically removed from your wallet.

2. User Obligations & Restrictions

  • Cashback is non-transferable, non-refundable, and has no cash value outside of the app.

  • Misuse or fraudulent activity (e.g. multiple accounts, fake transactions) may result in loss of cashback and account suspension.

  • You must ensure your account details are correct and updated.

3. Modifications and Updates

  • Smooth may change program rules, cashback rates, or eligible merchants at any time.

  • Updates will be communicated in the app. Continued use means you accept the new terms.

4. Privacy Policy

4.1 What We Collect

  • Personal Info: Name, phone number, email address.

  • Transaction Info: Bill amount, merchant name, date, and cashback.

  • Usage Info: App usage, device details, optional location (if enabled).

4.2 How We Use It

  • To track cashback, personalize offers, and improve user experience.

  • To send notifications, offers, and support responses.

  • We do not sell your data to third parties.

4.3 Sharing

We may share your data with:

  • Merchants: For cashback processing.

  • Payment Providers: To enable secure transactions.

  • Legal Authorities: If required by law.

4.4 Security

We use secure servers, encryption, and access controls to protect your data.

4.5 Your Rights

You may:

  • Access or update your info.

  • Request account deletion.

  • Opt out of marketing messages.
